Ingredients

  • 60ml vodka(suggested: orange flavored)
  • 30ml triple sec
  • 120ml orange juice
  • lemon-lime soda, for topping off

Orange wedge

Instructions

  1. Fill a glass with (crushed) ice.

  2. Add all ingredients except for the soda.

  3. Stir until chilled.

  4. Top off with soda.

  5. Stir lightly.

  6. Garnish with an orange wedge.

Hints

  1. This drink was originally made with orange-flavored vodka. If you don't have any, use regular vodka and consider adding a few drops of orange bitters.

  2. Add soda to taste- some recipes only add a splash, whereas others go much heavier. Premium lemonades (carbonated) would also go well here to keep the sweetness in check.

  2. In 2024, the Orange Crush became Delaware's official state cocktail. Governor John Carney stated that even though the Orange Crush was created in Maryland, it was "made famous and perfected at The Starboard in Dewey Beach, Delaware".
