Ingredients

  • 45ml vodka
  • 90ml carrot juice
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 15ml honey syrup
  • 1 tsp hot sauce(suggested: Cholula)
  • 1 tsp caper brine

Olives and celery stalk

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Roll the mixture until chilled.

  3. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice and rimmed with tajín or salt.

  4. Garnish with a celery stalk and an olive.

Hints

  1. Rolling a drink involves pouring the mixture with the ice from one glass to another until it is chilled. It doesn't add as much dilution as shaking, and it's quicker than stirring.

  2. When rimming a glass, use a citrus (lemon in this case) to coat the outside of the glass with juice. The salt will then adhere to the juice.

  3. You can use other spirits here: Aquavit and Tequila are some of our favorite alternatives!
