Ingredients

  • 4 basil leaves
  • 45ml orgeat
  • 45ml lemon juice
  • 90ml club soda

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except for the club soda to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until chilled.

  3. Add a large basil leaf to a wine glass.

  4. Fill half of the glass with crushed ice.

  5. Strain drink into the glass.

  6. Top with crushed ice.

  7. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

  8. Serve with a straw.

Hints

  1. Homemade orgeat is very easy to make, and it makes a huge difference in cocktails!

  2. As always, you can play around with adding more or less basil leaves, or even swapping it altogether for something like mint or rosemary.
