Basil Mojito

Ingredients

  • 10 - 12 basil leaves
  • 22.5ml simple syrup
  • 22.5ml lime juice
  • 60ml white rum
  • club soda, for topping off

Instructions

  1. Clap basil leaves to release essential oils and add to a highball glass.

  2. Stir basil leaves up and down the glass.

  3. Add the rum, lime juice and simple syrup, along with ice.

  4. Stir until chilled and top with soda water.

  5. Garnish with a basil sprig.
